I don’t know about you guys, but 2020 ran me through a shredder and then some.
But I survived. And if you’re reading this, so did you.
What does this mean for 2021? I don’t know about you, but I’ve taken this year to reevaluate some of the stuff going on in my life and make some serious decisions to spend my time doing things that promote happiness in my life.
What this means for you, dear readers, is that I’m no longer going to be writing about Zoe after the fourth book (and there’s only a fourth book, because I signed a contract with my publisher). It’s clear that I am not cut out for the world of published authorship.
Why? Because it’s not enough to just write anymore. I simply do not have the ability to market like I should, and it’s apparent in the number of reviews I’ve managed to get over my short career that the market for my stories does not exist.
And honestly, I’m just done. With Zoe. With writing as work. It’s not fun anymore. And I’ve always believed that when a passion becomes a chore, you should stop. So I am.
This newsletter will stay active, just in case 2021 brings a muse with her. But if you want one less email in your inbox, please unsubscribe.

I will be working on my Patreon (art mostly), so you’re welcome to subscribe there, if you’re interested. I also have some writing on Wattpad, if you’re there. Not Zoe stories but other projects.
You have my thanks for following me in whatever way you did so. It’s been a surreal journey with a bittersweet end. But life, it goes on.
I hope 2021 brings you all the joy and happiness you deserve. See you on the flipside.
